Essential Experience: 

15+ years in railway systems, with at least 5 years in senior Testing & Commissioning (T&C) or systems integration roles on major mainline or high-speed rail projects.
Demonstrable delivery of T&C programmes through to dynamic testing or trial running.
Working knowledge of ERTMS/ETCS Level 2 deployment and its interface demands on infrastructure contractors.
Practical experience of TSI conformity, NoBo/DeBo assessment processes, and CSM-RA.
Experience defining civils-to-systems handover regimes: what “ready for systems” actually means, documented and enforceable.
Strong interface management track record in multi-contract programmes where systems are procured separately from civils.
Fluent English. Comfortable operating in a multinational, multi-party team.

Desirable Experience: 

Experience on Alliance, IPD, or other collaborate contract forms.

25kV AC Electrification and traction power commissioning experience. 

Familiarity with ERA and national safety authority processes in smaller EU member states.

Chartered engineer or equivalent
