Civil Planner - Western Australia

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Civil Planner to join a leading civil construction contractor delivering major infrastructure, mining and resource sector projects across Australia.

This position is available on either a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) roster or as a full relocation opportunity for candidates looking to establish a long-term career in Australia. The successful applicant will play a key role in planning and coordinating complex civil construction projects while working alongside experienced project delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Produce construction schedules, resource plans and project reporting documentation.
Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and mitigation strategies.
Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers and Supervisors to ensure programmes remain achievable and accurate.
Coordinate planning activities across multiple work fronts.
Assist with tender planning, methodologies and programme development where required.
Analyse project performance against programme milestones and contractual requirements.
Prepare progress reports and communicate schedule updates to key stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise project delivery.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Civil Planner or Project Planner within civil construction, infrastructure, mining or resource projects.
Experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling and resource allocation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work within fast-paced project environments and manage competing priorities.
Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is highly desirable.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must be willing to relocate to Australia if successful.
